Based on attendee feedback, we are kicking the conference off on Tuesday morning at 8:30 am with our opening keynote. Arrive on Monday - onsite registration will be open from 2:00 pm until 8:00 pm. If you miss checking in on Monday, don’t worry, we’ll be open bright and early on Tuesday at 6:30 am, so you still have time to grab breakfast and not miss any of the general session.

Hands-on Learning sessions are 2 to 2 ½ hour, indepth training on some of the most popular areas of UltiPro. We will be offering 30 total sessions across Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday. To maximize the full value of your hands-on session, bring a Wi-Fi enabled laptop to complete specific exercises in an UltiPro learning environment. Many of these topics are already offered in UltiUniversity, or will be available before Connections.

To ensure there are learning opportunities for all attendees, over 135 breakout sessions covering 65 different topics will be offered at Connections 2018. Session topics are categorized into the below tracks to help you identify which sessions will be the most valuable for you to attend. Robin Roberts has worked in the broadcasting field for over 20 years, and has conducted extensive reporting from around the globe. Roberts was recognized with the Arthur Ashe Courage Award at the ESPY’s in July 2013, as well as being voted the Most Trusted Person on Television by a Reader’s Digest poll. Scott Scherr founded Ultimate Software in 1990 and has served as its president and CEO since the company’s inception. What if I have questions about Connections?

What is the dress code for Connections?
• Business casual attire is recommended.
• Because hotel conference rooms can sometimes be chilly, bring a jacket or sweater with you.
• The conference area is very large, so comfortable shoes are always a great idea.
• Wear your name badge at all times so you can get into all sessions and events.
• Carry your water bottle with you and stay hydrated. Las Vegas is a desert!
If I can't attend, can I transfer my registration to someone else in my organization?
You may send another person from your company at no additional charge. Substitutions can be made in writing to email@example.com up until March 9, 2018 at Noon (ET).
Are there penalties for canceling my registration?
Cancellations received by January 7, 2018 are eligible for a refund of the registration fee less a $125 processing fee. From January 7, 2018 through February 4, 2018, all cancellations will be assessed a $500 cancellation fee. After February 4, absolutely no refunds are available.
Will recertification credits be offered at
Traditionally, the American Payroll Association has approved Connections for recertification credits. We expect that this will be the case for the 2018 conference as well. Unfortunately, because Connections is not open to the general public, the HR Certification Institute will not preapprove the conference for HRCI credit hours. Attendees are welcome to self-report their attendance at breakout sessions. However, Ultimate Software cannot guarantee that HRCI will accept those requests.
Will I be able to get into a Hands-on Learning session?
Due to popular demand, we will be increasing the number of seats available in Hands-on Learning sessions. However, as this is an extremely popular session among attendees we cannot guarantee that you’ll be able to have a spot in every session. The sessions will be filled on a first-come, first-served basis.
When can I register for breakout sessions?
Registration for all sessions will open by February 16th. You will be notified when session selection becomes available.
Are group discounts available if multiple people from my company attend?
Yes! Group discounts are available to five or more employees from one company who register at the same time under one group leader. The group discount enables you to receive $200 off the individual pricing. During the Pre-Registration period (9/25/17 – 11/19/17) you will pay $1,495 with the group discount and during Early Bird Registration (11/20/17 – 1/28/18) you will pay $1,595 with the group discount. After January 28, 2018, no group discount will be offered.

Note: Rates cannot be changed at check-in. The discounted room rate is $209 per night plus tax. This rate will expire on February 19, 2018. Registration and check-in will be open on Monday, March 12, 2018 from 2 – 8 pm, so customers should feel free to arrive on Monday, March 12, 2018. On Tuesday, March 13, 2018, our first general session kicks off at 8:30 am (PT) . Our final conference event will be our Customer Appreciation Party on Thursday night, beginning at 8:00 pm and ending at 1:00 am on Friday, March 16, 2018. Conference attendees can book their outgoing travel Friday morning anytime.
Our host hotel and room blocks are at the Wynn Las Vegas and Encore resort. Wynn Resorts are the highest-rated resort company in the world with 13 Forbes Travel Guide Five-Star Awards in 2017. Our discounted room rate is $209 plus tax and optional resort fee. We encourage you to make your reservations as soon as possible. Once the block is full, we cannot guarantee additional rooms. This rate expires on February 19, 2018. At that time, the room rate will increase to the hotel’s rack rate, which can be considerably more expensive.

If you’re flying to Las Vegas to attend Connections, McCarran International Airport (LAS) is only 15 to 20 minutes away from the Wynn Las Vegas and Encore hotels. Depending on traffic, a taxi ride from the airport to the hotel will cost $22.00 - $25.00.
Uber and Lyft offer an advanced booking option and run about $12.00.
